About the Author
RaeAn is a twenty-two-year-old recent college graduate in the Washington, DC metro area. She has a degree in Jewish Studies, a certificate in LGBT Studies, and a notation in Creative Writing and spends most of her free time Ballroom and Latin dancing. She tends to focus on prose, but has recently re-discovered the relationship with poetry she had somehow forgotten along the high school/college transition. She finds influence and inspiration everywhere, but she has noticed a few trends: Judaism, the queer community, dystopian literature, the American political scene, and dancing... but she doesn't limit herself by any means.
This blog is intended to be her creative outlet, a form of self-publication so she can have a collection of her works in one place as well as a means of putting her work out there for others to read, critique, and enjoy. If a piece you loved disappears, don't fret--she may have submitted it for publication and the publisher will not allow submitted pieces to be published anywhere else. Among the pieces she places on here, comments of any shade are encouraged--read it, praise it, tear it apart. Question it all--for these are merely
